Whatever is good for your Soul, do that.

Is there some little tiny thing you can do today that would be good for your soul? Please say yes. I’m really hoping you say yes.

I saw this quote the other day (sadly, can’t figure out who to credit with it) and when I read it, I felt my soul let out a little sigh.

A sigh of longing. Yearning. A knowing that pleasing my soul is often accomplished with little things. Tiny little things.

For example, this tiny vase that my daughter gave me several years ago is holding broken flowers. These are the flowers that broke off when I was putting a larger bunch in a jar. Here is a photo of the larger jar.

Flowers often speak to me. Yes, I fully embrace that I’m a little strange like that! 😂But they do!

I heard the broken flowers gently ask, “Please let us stay with you for awhile.” I had actually thrown them in the trash.

But with their sweet request, I looked in the cabinet for my tiny vase. I got them out of the trash. I added a fallen blossom from one of my flower pots in the backyard and created a flower story.

A story of not discarding the tiny broken things for they might be the very thing that is good for your soul today.

Whatever is good for your soul today. Do that. Now 🌸

With love,

Brenda

About Chalkboard Wisdom

A couple of years ago, I bought a little chalkboard. It’s 3 1/2 inches wide and 8 inches tall. I thought I was going to use it as a grocery list. But then I didn’t.

The chalkboard sat on my kitchen counter. Waiting. Patient. Knowing her true purpose. She wanted to tell me Truths. She wanted me to see, read and learn about life through her simple messages. She wanted to help me discover how to be happy.

Often, not everyday but several days a week, she whispers something in my ear that I know I am to write on the chalkboard. And I do. Always. Without Fail. I trust her and obediently write her words down with the flaky chalk pencil and I usually add a tiny 5-petal flower. 🌸

The words are written for me but I also know that I am to share them. I believe it would be selfish of me to keep them all to myself.

My Chalkboard and I hope you find wisdom in our words that you my carry on your journey. ❤️
